Last week welcomed Alpha 4.3.2: Fractured Frontiers to the Live servers. This update introduces the mysterious Yormandi encounter, improvements to Structural Salvage and the FPS Tractor Beam, three new ships: the Stinger, Paladin, and Shiv. You will also find new weapons, quality-of-life updates, plenty of bug fixes, and the start of Phase 1 of the Frontier Fighters Finale, concluding the Pyro Must Burn storyline. The Day of the Vara 2955 celebration continues across Stanton and beyond, featuring two community contests: pumpkin decorating and horror stories. Players can also earn a Spectrum badge, take on the limited-time Kill Collector mode in Arena Commander to unlock eerie Halloween masks, and enjoy themed ship paints and other festivities through November 3. There’s still time to show off your creativity and claim a spooky reward!
Our teams are also collecting your feedback on Alpha 4.3.2 while preparing for upcoming events and the release of Alpha 4.4.0, which is expected to reach Evocati soon!
Now, let's see what's going on this week:
On Wednesday, the Roadmap Update and Roundup will be a follow-up to the recent announcements made during CitizenCon Direct 2955, along with additional 4.4.0 cards to the Release View, to prepare for the content ahead!
Also on Wednesday, our servers will be offline for approximately four hours starting at 12:00 p.m. UTC. During this maintenance window, all gameplay systems will be unavailable, and you will not be able to access the game until maintenance is complete. We will provide updates on the RSI Status Page as progress continues.
This downtime will allow us to implement several tweaks to the Live build, including fixes for commodities that would not sell at TDD locations, issues preventing datapad pickups, an update to Wikelo’s Emporium featuring the new Mission Pickup on Location feature, and a few other improvements.
